Renewables Success Story

CEF Therme Bucharest 2.51 MWp / BESS Therme 0.8 MWh

Developed in 2022 for Therme MEP, this full Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) project consisted of a 2.51 MWp solar photovoltaic system integrated with an 0.8 MWh energy storage solution. The project was designed to enhance energy efficiency and reduce reliance on conventional power sources, supporting Therme’s sustainability goals.
The solar installation utilized high-efficiency Longi solar panels mounted on durable Powerway structures, ensuring optimal energy capture and long-term performance. Sungrow inverters were selected for their reliability and advanced grid integration capabilities, ensuring smooth power conversion and system stability.
To complement the solar generation, an 0.8 MWh battery energy storage system (BESS) based on CATL batteries was implemented, enabling energy shifting, peak shaving, and enhanced energy security for the facility. The combination of solar power and battery storage allows for increased self-consumption of renewable energy, reducing grid dependency and optimizing operational costs.
This EPC project was delivered with a focus on high-quality components, efficiency, and long-term reliability, aligning with Therme’s commitment to innovation and sustainability.
