Teiuș, Romania – April 29, 2025 – ENEVO Group, a leading Romanian engineering and energy solutions company, has successfully completed the construction and commissioning of the Teiuș Photovoltaic Power Plant (CEF Teiuș), the largest renewable energy project financed under Romania’s National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR). The facility was officially inaugurated today in the presence of Romanian and international dignitaries.
The solar park, located in Alba County, has an installed capacity of 68.99 MW and is equipped with tracking systems that follow the sun throughout the day, ensuring maximum energy efficiency. With an annual output of over 103 GWh, CEF Teiuș will generate enough clean energy to power more than 25,000 households.
Importantly, the 80.5-hectare site will maintain dual use, continuing to support local agriculture through livestock grazing by over 130 farmers in the region. This model enhances the sustainability and socio-economic impact of the project.
With a total investment of approximately €55 million, including €15 million in PNRR funding, CEF Teiuș stands as the largest renewable energy initiative supported by the program to date. ENEVO Group led the project’s EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) execution, in collaboration with partners Alpin Sun and Electroalfa. The scope included design, procurement, installation, and commissioning of the PV plant, a 110/20kV substation, and an 80 MVA transformer station – built to the highest standards of quality and in full compliance with Romanian grid connection regulations.
