ENEVO Group has developed the fastest and most reliable Operational Limitation Automation (ALO) System (Automatizare de Limitare Operațională), a solution built on complex communication protocols and technologies specific to critical applications in the energy sector. This system was publicly presented to the specialist audience during an event organized on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, in Bucharest.
ALO is deployed within electrical grids to prevent overload conditions, equipment damage, or potential outages. When the grid operates under high-load conditions or abnormal scenarios, ALO automatically intervenes to limit the power output from the power plant or, if necessary, disconnects it to maintain grid stability.
ALO functions as an intelligent protection system: it continuously monitors the status of critical grid elements, and if any of them become disconnected or overloaded, it automatically takes action to ensure the safe operation of the respective infrastructure.
The solution uses numerical protection terminals dedicated for use in electrical substations, recognized for their reliability and resistance to electromagnetic disturbances, which gives it operational stability even in challenging conditions.
The system’s architecture is designed for scalability, enabling data from a single device to be distributed simultaneously to multiple users thereby optimizing implementation and operating costs.
These services are complemented by continuous cybersecurity monitoring: data traffic throughout the entire communications infrastructure—from source to destination—is analyzed and evaluated using technologies specific to industrial communications.
